  1. Are all masonry units (sizes, types and colors), mortars and grouts clearly selected? Pay special attention that specified grouts are actually used.
  2. What are the testing requirements for the masonry work?
  3. Are the masonry connections clear?
  4. Are movement joints clearly detailed and located?
  5. Is everything clear with anchor bolts, rebar, bond beams, grouting, lintels and flashing?
  6. Who is responsible for line and grade?
  7. Who is responsible for cold/hot weather special requirements?
  8. Is the method and responsibility clear for temporary wall bracing and wall covering?
  9. How will "final product" masonry walls be kept clean during construction?
  10. Is the method and responsibility for final cleaning clear?
  11. What type of scaffolding will be used?
  12. How will the block, brick, mortar, etc. get to the masons on the scaffolding?
  13. Where will the masonry materials be stored and mortars mixed?
  14. How will various weather conditions be handled?
  15. How will a safe working environment be achieved?
